We are preparing all three books of the Nightingale Mountain Trilogy for publication in Spanish.
We are pleased to share that work is underway on Spanish editions of the complete Nightingale Mountain Trilogy.
The three novels—The Vigil, The Reunion, and The Legacy—follow the apostle Paul and his family through the rapidly changing world of the first-century church. Soon, we hope Spanish-speaking readers will be able to experience that story in their own language.
The Complete Trilogy
The Spanish editions will be published as the Trilogía del Monte del Ruiseñor:
Libro 1 — La Vigilia
Libro 2 — El Reencuentro
Libro 3 — El Legado
Our goal is to have all three books available by Thanksgiving 2026.
Rather than simply translating words from one language into another, our aim is to preserve the characters, relationships, historical setting, biblical foundations, and storytelling voice of the original novels while allowing the Spanish to read naturally for a Latin American audience.
That work is now underway.
The Same Story For New Readers
At the heart of the trilogy is a family.
Paul’s journeys and ministry carry him throughout the Roman world, but the novels also imagine the lives of the people who knew him as Saul: the family he left behind, the relationships changed by his encounter with Jesus, and the consequences of the new calling that transformed his life.
Their story unfolds alongside events recorded in Acts and Paul’s letters, bringing together biblical history and historical fiction.
That story will remain the same in Spanish.
The language is changing. The people, their struggles, their faith, and their world are not.
Looking Toward Publication
There is still work ahead before the Spanish editions are ready for readers, and we want to take the time necessary to prepare them carefully.
We will share additional news as La Vigilia, El Reencuentro, and El Legado move closer to publication.
For now, we are simply delighted to be able to say:
La Trilogía del Monte del Ruiseñor llegará pronto en español.
Author Note
When we wrote the Nightingale Mountain Trilogy, we hoped to help readers step into the world of Paul, his family, and the earliest followers of Jesus. Preparing these novels in Spanish gives us the opportunity to open that world to readers we could not reach through the English editions alone. We look forward to welcoming them to Nightingale Mountain.
